» Media self-regulation

The media legislation in Hungary and internationally since 2010 has been severely criticized for not properly guaranteeing the freedom of the media. The Center for Independent Journalism aims to initiate social dialogue to help European standards in the long run, and it represents the freedom of the media to better meet future regulatory framework with strong legitimacy. Discussion materials are created about the topics of media authority, media market regulation, media self-regulation, media education,  online journalism forums, media companies, professional and civil society organizations, and media researchers.
